The material was the rarely-heard 'Mirrors' Vocal Suite by Kenny Wheeler. The choir and the band performed this dazzlingly beautiful music to a sold-out crowd (packed into every corner!) and the evening was a great success. Kenny Wheeler himself was unfortunately unable to be present but had already given the project his blessing and even wrote an arrangement especially for the LVP choir to perform before the suite - a new vocal arrangement of his composition Comba No.3.

After a week's retreat in the South of France to work solely on this challenging material, the choir stepped up to the mark and gave the performance of a lifetime. Hopefully we will be able to perform this material again sometime in the not-too-distant future.
