Who are the London Vocal Project?

We are made up of singers and instrumentalists from the main London music colleges. Most of us have qualifications in jazz performance or other musical fields of expertise. The leader of the choir is famed jazz educator and arranger Pete Churchill.

What kind of music do we sing?

We sing all kinds! From traditional to contemporary gospel music, from Stevie Wonder to James Taylor, and original works specially commissioned - we recently performed Kenny Wheeler's rarely-heard vocal suite 'Mirrors' at the Vortex Jazz Club in North London. We have also sung at the Royal Albert Hall and Regent's Street Festival, as well as being regulars at the City of London Festival.
